Good Housekeeping recently tested "Green" dry cleaning methods: Wet Cleaning, Liquid Co2, Liquid Silicone, and PERC-Alternative. The results: The best cleaner: liquid silicone, marketed as GreenEarth -- and you can locate a local GreenEarth cleaner on the GreenEarthCleaning website. However, because the EPA hasn't weighed in on it yet, Good Housekeeping recommends Liquid CO2 as providing the best combination of environmental safety and cleaning results.
